I’m Donna Cates, and I’m passionate about helping women make informed decisions about their money so they aren’t living in fear of not having enough of it to live fulfilling lives. Women have historically been underserved in the world of investing and wealth management and I aim to change that by leveling the playing field.
My work as a financial advisor, wealth builder, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) since 2000 has been to empower women to take charge of their financial wellbeing regardless of their current station in life. Women have complex goals and wear many hats with unique challenges.
Whether your focus is on creating financial stability for your family; planning for retirement; negotiating a divorce settlement; or rebuilding your financial foundation after divorce or loss of a spouse, I’m here to help.
Our work together will include defining your goals and dreams as well as your fears and concerns. Next comes evaluating your cash flow, savings and investment strategies, insurance coverage, and estate planning with the goal of determining the best course of action for you to achieve the things that are important to you. Let’s face it ladies, we don’t need to just “hope” that we can achieve our goals, we must create a plan and follow it to ensure they happen.
